Hello World...
Well I finally fell to the peer pressure that is the internet and started a blog. I already have an empty blog over at blog.com, but I just never felt hte urge to write anything there, the site felt claustrophobic to me.
Why Vox? Easy to sign up, nice and clean design, I can keep things private if I want to - also I read an interview with the co-founder in .net magazine this week. She seemed a sensible woman, and sensible woman produce the best web sites so here I am.
The one thing I'm worried about is that this blog will be too varied - one day I may blog about what I've done with ajax and prototype.js, the next how my crocheted shawl is progressing - what about my musings on my Dramatic Society? Puzzle Pirates? Books? My new camera? php?
But why shouldn't I blog about everything? I'm worried it will seem dis-jointed, but my life isn't disjointed so why should writing about it be thus?
We shall have to see :-)
World, meet my blog, my life, my spelling.
Blog, meet the world... you'll love it
Amykate - off to write a new report for the Brand New Sparkley WX, yarrr!

VOX is a really great application. It's robust enough to do the majority of 'bloggish' things I want to do. I'm a fan.
